The gift of art.

 And so it goes. The days have shortened.  Winter seems to be descending quickly this year at least in Colorado where the mountains have been blanketed.  The wood stove has been burning daily for weeks.  This time of year reminds me how hibernation feels as natural as the desire to eat  warm hearty cooked foods like soup or  roasted vegetables.  

Thanksgiving is only a week away.   This holiday for me is about recognizing the many blessings of this life.   I also try to be sensitive to those who struggle this time of year.  Those that do not have healthy family relationships, who are alone or who are dealing with other personal challenges.
