So i was selected by the editor of the Grand Valley Magazine to be the featured artist for the month of April.  This is a very high class, well designed, thick glossy paged magazine that represents what is happening in this area on the western slope of Colorado.  I am honored that I was chosen,  How did this happen?  I put it out there.  I asked the question , "How do I get featured?"  They reviewed my website,  loved my work and said they were super excited to feature me.  Do you believe you can manifest your deepest desires?  

I have also been juried into the Carbondale mountain art festival ( near Aspen)  for this coming July.  I am pretty damn excited about these things.  I was painting every day for the last week until we got exhausted with Lucas having pertussis ( whooping cough).  I am longing to paint more and to paint better.  Being a self taught artist I am very happy with what i have done.  I am getting ready though to do an online technique oriented class with the amazing creative Ardith Goodwin from Alabama.  I am so excited to grow my tools and techniques in which to express my world and my feelings.  My art is a container for the things that i am passionate about , for the things that i love and dream about and for the things that break my heart.  This is my journey and this is my way.
