Happy Holidays!

The holidays come up  regardless of how we feel about them.  They come and they go faster every year.  I wanted to take a moment to sincerely express my gratitude for every person that has supported me this year and in years past.  I also wanted to offer support to those who struggle at this time of year .  This time of year can highlight the sadness of unhealthy relationships, the reality of health and financial struggles and feelings of lost hope.   I hope that  light seeps in to all of those places.  

We have been very busy in my home with a massive kitchen remodel. I am so grateful for the hard work and artistry that Kelly ( my husband ) is bringing to this project.  It has thrown off my feelings of being settled and has made finding time for painting difficult.  I cannot wait for my kiddos to be here for Christmas in a couple of week.  I also  will be glad when the hubbub  of the holidays and construction is done so that i can get back to my studio!

As we move into 2015, I hope to create, to grow and to share my art to a wider audience.  Thank you to those who have shared my art.  It means the world to me!  I will share a couple of my newer paintings here as well as something to contemplate as we move to 2015
